Trends on the Internet are changing constantly, and while certain sales letter styles used to be effective when they were new, surfers have seen too many of them to be impressed and many of these letters are actually scams. Selling online is not what it used to be; competition is ever present and the way you place yourself and your product on the international business market will determine your success. Your sales copy is an integral part of this, and it is imperative that you stay professional at all times. Don't make claims that are too good to be true; customers will think that the product probably is too good to be true. For example; "Product X will make the fat melt off your thighs, it will change your life forever. Take charge of your life now, product X will fix your problems!" To customers this sounds like "product X will make you skinny instantly, bring you the man of your dreams, and your entire life will be better". Most customers are too intelligent to fall for a message like that, and if your product truly does work extremely well you need to leverage on word of mouth and the reputation you establish. This would be a more appropriate message for product x: "product X has shown incredible results with thousands of satisfied customers. Give it a try today, we know it works, but if you find it does not work for you we will refund your money. No questions asked". This message conveys your confidence in your product, without making seemingly unrealistic promises. This brings us to another great marketing tool; credibility is a very fragile commodity, especially when selling online. Offering a money-back guarantee, if at all possible, can be a way to convince any doubting visitors to turn into paying clients.

Using powerful words will ensure you end up with a killer sales message. Here again a word of caution: don't use words that essentially have no meaning. Saying "Perfume Y has an incredible smell and will make you feel extraordinary" will not convince too many potential clients to buy this product, even though you have used words that are generally considered powerful "selling" words. Instead the following may be far more effective: "Perfume Y will engulf you in femininity and boost your confidence with a subtle, fresh and slightly floral feminine scent."mple tips will ensure that you have a winning sales letter at the tip of your fingers!
